Often cited as one of the most prolific artists in hip-hop/rap, Esham's depth and creativity is showcased on over 17 solo-studio albums, eight studio albums with the group NATAS, and eight EPs, in addition to five mixtapes, three compilation albums, and many appearances on other artists' tracks.

BOOMIN WORDS FROM HELL (1988)
Boomin’ Words from Hell was first released in 1988 when Smith was just 13 years old. It was promoted solely by via word of mouth and the album’s dark lyrical content made it the subject of many rumors regarding devil worshipping and cultism.
EROTIC POETRY (1991)
The original packaging for the Erotic Poetry album featured the words “Part II”, leading many to believe there was a “Part I”. This was simply a clerical error by Deadboy and the source of the rumored missing chapter.
HOMEY DONT PLAY (1991)
Released simultaneous to Erotic Poetry, Homey Don’t Play featured the debut of “Homey the Clown” who inspired other popular artists to paint their faces.
JUDGEMENT DAY VOL. 1 (1992)
Judgement Day Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 was the first double album released in hip-hop and rap history. Vol. 1 addresses drug use, religion, and suicide.
JUDGEMENT DAY VOL. 2 (1992)
The controversy created by the lyrical content of Judgement Day Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 sparked protests, boycotts, and the albums were banned by national music retailers.
HELLTERSKKKELTER (1993)
Hellterskkkelter reflected the mayhem that occurred in the streets of Detroit the night before Halloween, also known as Devil’s Night. “The title was inspired by Charles Manson, but the use of “kkk” in the spelling was one of Deadboy’s marketing strategies – it wasn’t a reference to the Klu Klux Klan” according to Esham.

LIFE AFTER DEATH (1992)
Long before the days of pro tools and loops, Esham, Mastamind, and TNT recorded Life After Death on a Tascam688 8 track recorder in Esham's childhood bedroom. Despite their lack of experience and technical knowledge, the three MCs took the art of sampling to the next level. "I used to walk around lookin' at wack niggas like "You mothafuckas don't even know what's about to hit you," said Mastamind.
BLAZE4ME (1994)
Testosterone drivin and raw, NATAS pushed their first amendment rights to the limit on Blaz4me. Blaze4me, a portmanteau of the word blasphemy and the phrase “blast for me” is showcased on the title track “my shotgun said blaz4me” in which that the firearm “speaks” to the one that touches it.
DOUBELIEVENGOD (1995)
NATAS most beloved album, Doubelieveingod highlighted a more mature style of rapping and production – heavy sampling gave way to dark synth-driven beats that became the quintessential NATAS sound.
MULTIKILLIONAIRE (1997)
Recorded in a studio located next to a nightclub in downtown Detroit, tracks like "Multikillionaire" and "Trick Masta" with laid with a party going on right outside the booth. The party ended when the frequent and questionable visitors became problematic... The studio was ransacked following the completion of the album.
WWW.COM (1999)
A deal with TVT and a sizable advance moved NATAS to a top-of-the-line studio. WicketWorldWide.COM featured live instrumentation, hip-hop beats , and an aggressive rock tone that earned widespread praise. Both Murder Dog and XXL magazines rated WWW.COM the #1 rap album of 1999.
GODLIKE (2002)
In the midst of beef with fellow Detroit rappers from the group D12, frustrations with the music industry, and tensions brewing between members of NATAS, Godlike reflected the turmoil of this time. Despite all the negativity, the album peaked at #35 on the Billboard Top Independent Albums Chart.
